Figured out what way I need to turn to do what. Just curious to what the intials stand for (assuming they are French?).
Will hoepfully help me remember the right way to adjust
What is the adjuster? Is it compression?
I don't know the fork but if it is then my guess would be hard (more compression) soft (less compression). Is there a manual in English you can download or anything?
No manual
S seems to give more compression H gives less.
Also shows H & S for the rebound adjustment as well as the LSC & HSC
Hi and low speed compression?
Manual: http://www.bosmtb.com/pdf/noticesen/Deville2010EN.pdf might not be the right one, but must be similar...
could H be Haute as in High?
not sure what S would be though...
Low is Bass
All knobs on the Deville work by turning clockwise equals more damping - counter clockwise equals less. I think one of the stickers is even wrong.
Thanks guys, though I gues we still don't know what the initials are for 🙂
For rebound, turning clock wise certainly seesm to give more damping.
That would imply that the LSC & HSC sticker is on the wrong way round 🙁
Thanks P20. I have that but it does not esplain the damping setting controls. Appreciate you sending on anyway.
from the other day:

failing that give Roger a call at R53 he may even give you some base settings if you ask nicely.
It was R53 that confirmed my thoughts that it is clockwise to increase all damping and that the stickers and the manual may be misleading. I questioned it as the LSC is on an opposite thread but was given the reason why clockwise still increases the damping.
Pretty easy to remember as it feels natural to wind the damping in/on
No wonder there are no forks available for me when it seems the whole of STW are buying them up. [/grumpy]
