'Cycling Home from Siberia' Rob Lilwall

Looks great, the crazy bugger was on the road for well over 3 years, and started with a 3,500 mile detour through the Siberian winter!

MiNewt Mini Usb making me feel safer on the commute already and currently charging next to me.

A Howies merino top/base layer which is really nice.

Some socks with cycle logos on them.

...and a small puncture repair kit with a multi-tool in a little denim pouch you can affix to a belt or seatpost.

A cardigan and some slippers were about the most memorable gifts I received this year.

Oh, and a box of tasty foodstuffs.

I fell off on the ice on boxing day and initially thought it was nothing but my chest has been getting more and more painful so I suspect I've got a broken or bruised rib going on too.

MountainMonkey, pickups will be going into one of these:

Lovely guitar, only slightly let down by the cheap pickups. But not for much longer. Can't wait to hear them through the Blackstar.

Better not take those Mavic wheels out in the snow, you might lose them with that camo effect.

A casual cashmere suit-style jacket.

I'll give you review right now.

It's portable and makes great espresso. 😉

Like Explosion in a Spaghetti Factory, I also got a Handpresso as well as the usual bike related stuff. Seems to work well, but annoyingly didn't come with a tamper- at the moment I'm having problems getting the flow slow enough to make a strong cup.

If I'm remembering correctly that would be an Ibanez Iceman.

I got my first SPDs along with which came the lesson: Do not forget you are clipped in when you stop at a road junction. Lesson reinforced by the humility of having a stupid fall witnessed.
