All,
Having issues getting a bike delivered, the first one the courier apparently left the cardboard bike box in a puddle, dropped it on one end, the dragged the unprotected forks across the floor while moving it around the warehouse. I sent the bike back using the same courier, which the bike shop insisted on, and now the courier have lost the bike.
The bike shop are waiting on the bike to be returned to them before replacing the damaged bike and are insisting on using the same courier if they send out a new bike. Can anyone suggest a courier firm who can reliably deliver a bike from the Lakes/North West to Nottingham area? I would collect it myself but I’m not allowed to drive for a few months following surgery.
The courier is DX Express.
Thanks
It's not usually the company but the person on the day. I would risk it again and just send back if an issue.
But if i was sending, I would pay the premium for parcelforce
My Levo was delivered from Kinetic Revolution by Bike Services UK - don't know if they are just Southern though (bike shop was Essex, delivered to Derbyshire).
Bike was built up so not boxed and there were a few others in the van, but they were strapped down and separated with blankets between (maybe not the most innovative and up to date transportation method). Bike arrived unmarked though.
