I'm considering replacing the rims on my 29er as the Mavic XM319's are a bit damaged. If I want to go on-trend and plump for a wider rim, would the Pacenti DL31's be good?

I like the CL25's on my 'life bicycle'. Will stick with the Geax Saguaro 2.2" tyres for the time being.

Anything with >25mm internal width is pretty wide IMHO.

Yeah, they just make that at 26mm.

Anyone happen to remember which issue of the mag they did the wide wheels grouptest in? Can't easily find it in the archive.

Got some WTB i25s. Seem like guttering compared to the 19mms they are replacing.

What width of tyre are you using on those seadog? Any +ve's or -ve's changing from the narrow rims?

edit - they're a bit lighter than the Pacenti's and a good price at CRC too.
