My Reverb came fitted to my Guide brakes - have sold the Reverb and now have useless LHS brake lever.
Do I need a standard Avid Matchmaker clamp, and just remove the wiggly bit that normally attatches to shifter?
If so, the clamps seem to be LHS/RHS specific, is that the case and can they be sourced seperately?
You want an Avid/SRAM Hinge Clamp.
Normally the brakes come with these, but I guess you didn't get the box of bits with it.
Not sure about getting them after market, though seems they come in different sizes.
There's also a U Clamp which is just simply a clamp with no hinge and you push it onto the bars (careful you don't scratch them).
No - it appears On-One kept those bits to themselves.
Whats the 'MMX' clamp reference about?
I'm guesing the smae as this?:
Which is what I need?
[s]Not sure about the MMX reference. Usually that means the extra MMX bit, which you can't remove so you don't want that. Picture is the hinge clamp though.[/s]
Scrap that, looks like the MMX clamps have a removable bit and then it just becomes a hinge clamp.
The U Clamp is a 'discrete' clamp.
Looks like Avid are about to score another £20. Unless anyone has a spare?..
Think i've found what I need:

X5/X7 version for Guide levers according to Q+A
Maybe http://www.bicyclehero.com/gb/avid-lever-mmx-clamp-elixir-cr-mag-xo-xx-black.html will do.
Says X0/XX and I think the Guide stuff is same fit, but don't hold me to that!
Never ordered from that place either so no idea what they're like.
Edit: Ah, yeah, the CRC one probably the same also.
