so, picked up a turbo trainer today, i aint got a roadie so im using an old mtb..

have tried it out this evening with some 26" 'semi road' tyres with a bit of tread, makes a 'brrrrrrrrrr-ing' sound as it spins (no surprise)

So i'm after a 26" slick or something to give it a whirl and quieten it down. any suggestions STWers?

Mrs Cheeze has asked if she can have an extra knobbly high roller or similar for extra vibes through the back end.. 😯

I wont see her for hours, methinks 😀

Just get the cheapest slick you can. Won't last that long. Worth looking out for a turbo tyre, I got one off here for not much.

Do yourself a favour and stump up for a proper turbo tyre, mine cost £17 from rosé, it is much much quieter than the slick I had been using last winter. Wife is happier
