Going through them like a tyrant. Any advice? Do FSA fit Shimano? I have Shimano XT and LX cranks (Hollowtech II 2007s).
If you're not a weight weenie I'd suggest good old cheap steel Deores for the granny and middle rings. With Shimano price rises you can also get Middleburn Slickshift, Hardcoat outer rings for around half the price of an equivelent XT ring (I've not tried Middleburn but can't wait for my XT ring to wear out so I can).
I've had Middleburn hardcoats and they've lasted fairly well (2 years compared to 2 months on the XTs). Just wondered if there was something equally/almost as good for cheaper. Feeling poor. Might get Deores, thanks!
