chain keeps dropping on my capra so thinking of getting a chain guide. What's recommended that isn't megabucks.
one up
I favour a top guide and taco arrangement
If it keeps dropping then your chain or ring or cassette is worn or your chain has too many links or badly setup.
You don't need a guide however I do run a top one as for the 1x it falls off annually I hate my bike!
If I was choosing I'd buy the one up top guide too.
The Unite compact chain guide and the Unite compact bash guard look pretty good to me. All their stuff looks quite nice, pretty solid looking.
I've got the one up on my trail bike and it's been good. Nice and lightweight as well but for durability I think I might look at the unite stuff next. Depends how likely you are to give it a bash I suppose.
2016? Odd as my 2016 AL1 has a chain guide on it as standard.
Actually yeah, I thought they came with an e13 top guide on them anyway?
RSP Mino 1 - £20 from Tredz for the ISCG mount.
I've got this for sale if it fits?
Superstar Slider chain guide device with bashguard ISCG. Brand New. £35 posted
