Hi,
I had a good rummage on the internet but can't find any obvious details on the above cartridge bearings. Are they standard across all bikes or are they specific to a manufacturer?
Thanks

I have 2 sets of Ritchey WCS wheels that use cartridge bearings. Both use common bearings that are readily available in the market; they are not proprietary. The older (rim brake) set are manufactured by American Classic while the newer disc set is made by DT Swiss. The bearings should have a number on them such as "6001" which is usually molded into the seal. This number should be consistent across bearing manufacturers. If there is no number visible, bearings can be ordered with 3 measurements; outside diameter, inside diameter, and thickness. And you DO NOT want bearings like the "Enduro Max" as these do not have a bearing retainer and thus fit more balls. This results in the balls spinning against one another, causing more drag. They are not good for wheels but are made for suspension pivots where high load, but little rotation is the norm. Check out http://www.endurobearings.com for some background. Hope this helps.
