I'm building up a cheap carbon 456 and read carbon assembly paste is needed for the seat post, I've never used this before so what stuff should I buy?

Also I need some heli tape so what's the best option for this now and does anyone have a link (it's the green and black frame).

Oh and before I forget what from mech do I need, I know it's 34.9,but do I need convention etc

Thanks everyone

Front mech - low clamp works fine

Helitape - i am selling some in the classifieds £21 for 3m (enough to do top tube/down tube/both seat and chain stays easily

I use tacx paste- it's great stuff. Crc have it I think, but I got mine from lbs. They actually offered a smear on the post for free...

Tape - you just want any of the glossy finish stuff. Look for genuine 3M - it's the best commercially available stuff but tbh most will do. I use 100mm wide tape due to the bulkyness of the frame.

Conventional FD, top pull - I found that the BB-seat tube junction was still tapering where a low band FD clamp wanted to sit for perfect shifting.
