I ride along a main road to work, it's not busy, it's just that everyone seems to want to see me dead. Alternative route is through town which is even worse.
I have people overtaking me on blind rises, over double continuous lines, even when I ride in primary. People cutting round me on 2 lane roundabouts. Last straw was a lorry this morning passing at ~40mph at a foot distance over double continuous.
I've noticed that with my light (switched off, during daytime) on my helmet people appear to be more cautious, I can only attribute this to them mistaking it for a camera. So I'd like a helmet mount camera firstly to deter, secondly so if the worse was to happen I have a chance at finding the culprit and it not being my word against theirs.
Anyway, ideally something cheap and with a decent battery, image quality doesn't need to be high at all. I remember seeing some on ebay that did a 20min overwrite cycle but can't find them.
Anyone have one they can recommend?
