So I just bled my trust M615 Deore brakes and somehow managed to strip the thread on the level bleed port, so now the little cap doesn't tighten up and just spins. Argh.
As these are M615 I can't just get a new lever, nobody sells them anymore. They're also I-Spec B and my shifter is I-Spec B, so I can't just upgrade to the latest M8000 lever as I'd have to change shifter too.
Does anyone know what the latest brake to come with an I-Spec B lever was? Or does anyone have a spare BL-M615-R (right hand lever) I can buy?
Ah ok looks like current Zee M640 is B. Is there any good reason why I can't put a M615 caliper with a M640 lever, apart from having Zee on the lever and Deore on the caliper?
Any of the same vintage - M675 SLX, M785 XT or 640 Zee would be fine IIRC.
eg
All cross-compatible. I've used XT levers with Deore 615 calipers etc.
I have a whole 615 brake if you're interested. PM me if you are.

This works fine.
The likes of wolftooth and others do a bunch of adapters that should allow you to buy whatever brake you like.
Guessing this is what Fat-boy-fat is referring to -

Good luck trying to work out what you need!
(hey! new forum feature?! Shortens links for you?)
I just bought the M615 off Ben, thanks all.
