A bombproof 1980s Karrimor Bardale Bar bag in fetching blue and orange cordura, still used to carry the drone. An 80s nylon Polar waterproof pacamac with mesh sleeves in a mesh bag that lives in a saddlebag. Ron Hill tracksters (complete with foot loops) of a similar vintage that I still wear in winter. The obligatory late 90s SPD pedals on my commuter that won't die. 8sp XT shifters on the same bike that have worked flawlessly for 25 years. A tub of 90s Judy Butter I'll never finish. An early 70s Pletscher sprung carrier rack is probably the oldest personal item still in use but I've a few obsolete tools and bits from my dad that were probably bought in the 50s. Most notably, a metal french chalk tin with perished rubber bung that still forms part of my repair kit.

Reckon my wife will chuck the lot when I snuff it.

Best place I've seen for weird and wonderful vintage kit is the loft space at Wheelcraft. Big Al's been squirreling stuff up there for decades.

I think i jinxed my dakine bag. Last ride 2 of the zip pullers/tags frayed and came off during use. 50p for replacements and it's good for tomorrow's ride.
