I made my own, ok its not as powerful as a dirtworker but it works.

10lt water can from halfords and a 12 volt caravan pump off ebay, total cost £18.50.

I've got a ditworker, great bit of kit. The only criticism i've got is the attachment for the hose on the machine sticks out a bit and its easily hit and a bit fragile. Mines an early one though so don't know if the newer ones have changed.

EDIT : Oh and the return on the gun trigger stopped returning after not a lot of use but overall i'd still recommend it.

I have a mobi v15 and can thoroughly recommend it, think merlin are generally the cheapest.

Mobi washer v17 ..although I,ve had to order hose connections a couple of times now but I think that was due to them being very brittle during the cold snap 😕

Do need a soft brush and a bit of cleaner to help get the crap off, but it works well if used straight after a ride.

bucket and sponge is surley easier than all that faff above or a pressure sprayer works ok seeing as you appear to be going all agricultural in solution

I've got a Mobi, which is ace... TBH I reckon it being self contained is the winning feature for these things, I can see why people are using other options but I wouldn't- this just goes in the car with the other kit, fire and forget at the trails. I do like Lipseal's fix though.

Worth it? Well tbh I regret it so far, it's not getting enough use. But maybe that'll change

I got a mobi (wired version) for xmas off the mother in law and i have to say i'm very pleased. Its not amazingly powerful but as someone says its not going to ruin bearings either. The thing is though when the mud is wet it comes off really easily. I'd recomend them.

Yay for the Dirtworker.....

Ride, wash, lube, stick in shed........

Was dubious about spending £85 on it, but quickly realised it was one of the best things I have purchased for bike related activities.

Burls - a replacement trigger can be had for about £10. Dirtworker have an eBay shop. I have just recently bought one after chucking the original one on the floor in the cold weather and cracking it.....must be more careful.

Had a mobi, and it leaked after a few months. Was very plasticky too.

Got a dirtworker now and its much more 'industrial' and tough. Had it a year now and its not missed a beat. Using it twice a week this time of year - don't regret buying it one bit.
