Does anyone know? Or seen anything similar?
Thanks catnash! Can't believe I didn't even look on CRC. Bargain at £13 too. Ideal for washing the bikes.
We bought one a few weeks back, not very good for big bikes, like my zesty...
I've ben looking hard for some kind of bike stand/storage solution for a while (not for wall fixing, for the floor in a rented garage), and like Mounty everything I have tried either is too narrow to get big tires in, or it does not hold the big bike up (29er).
What the hell else is there? Anyone got any ideas?
Custom make one out of a couple of sheets of ply?
I have a load of the Kestrel ones - they come in 2 widths for roadbikes and mountain bikes.
Plus, you can squeeze the hoops together or stretch them for a snugger fit. They're not perfect, but they do the job for storage.
One thing to bear in mind though, move the rear mech down to the smaller sprockets, otherwise you can damage it on the stand.
Quite liked the Topeak stand http://www.topeak.com/products/Repair-Stands/Ride-UpStand, but it's not the cheapest. Probably very well made.
we have a hook from decathlon.

allows you to turn the gears. good for races etc.

We noticed that too, so we just use the front wheel in the stand, works fine on the HT.

These are good! and it doesnt have anything to do with tyre size. it just fits between the hub and non drive side swingarm.
