You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
A good mate of mine is aptly named Big Dave.
He often hears of our fun days out on the bikes & is keen to get him in the fold.
The question is what bike would be best / suitable?
He is thinking of an off the peg bike & change a few bits:
Wheels, handlebars, stem, seatpost & saddle.
Toby Field on the Cycle Show the other night started on a Giant Youkon so obviously that would be ok.
Doesn't want anything too fancy, that can wait 😉 (the addiction wil soon take hold)
Thanks fellow STW's
Alan.
A Harley ?
A static one, in a gym : )
Serious answer - large cotic bfe - 140mm. Mate has gone from being round to a twig. Still on the same bike just millions times faster now
Fat bike?
ttiuwp?
been there, and beyond.
kona hoss
456
cove stiffee
brodie holeshot
stiff overbuilt frame, maxxis dualply tyres and truvativ running gear.
Any beefy hardtail, preferably 26". I wouldn't even swap the wheels, weight will drop off him rapidly at that weight if he goes for it.
