Those self-adhesive temperature strips from Maplins, RS etc are pretty good £10 or so for a pack of 10

Stick one on the handlebars

Hmm nice idea. But I would like a computer based one.

Won't any computer with an altimeter function show the temperature?

I've a VDO MC1.0 that I got about 3 years ago (bought a wired one to equip two difeerent bikes without having to buy an expensive extra wireless sensor).

Still works. Temperature seems accurate (more so than altitude!)

i looked at bike computers with thermometers a couple of years ago, theres a couple around (cant remember names though, maybe one of the cateye ones), but the ones i saw had the temp units linked to the distance units, ie you could only have degrees C with distnce set to Km, or F with miles, and as i cant work in F or KM i didnt bother getting one.

If this bothers you, worth downloading the manual for it before you buy.

This is the one i was looking at a while back but i thought it was a bit pricey for what i wanted at the time.

Was the only one i found with temperature on it.

I have 2 stem captains that i bought at xmas, one clock and one thermometer.

I got them at stemcaptain.co.uk for £16 each posted and they came really quickly. I'm liking them so far and trying to get my LBS to stock them.

The cheapo wireless computer I got from ASDA has a thermometer, along with calories burnt, a backlight and all sorts of fancy gubbins to distract you from the road ahead.

I like to know the temperature everywhere I have two digital thermometers inside at home plus one outside. I suppose I am curious and like numbers?
