I'm getting back into the saddle (so to speak) after a good 5 years out and am looking for a low travel(120mm)full susser for around £1500 mark. I've been looking at the Lapierre xflow 312 which you can pick up for £1440 at the moment or the Ghost ASX 5500 which is £1500. First time on a full susser, the last bike was a Trek 4400 which is a big change from what I'm looking at now but served me well at trail centres in the 7stanes Glentress, forest of Ae ect... Any advise would be much appreciated...

£1,500 will get you a good spec 2011 Anthem X, which is a very good all round XC/Trail bike.

thanks for all the comments folks. What a difficult choice. I'm now looking at a Whyte 810 hardtail! Gonna try and demo a few and see what feels right. Thanks!
