Been offered a reasonably priced secondhand crankset,but what bb do they use,.....theres no point in me buying a cheap crankset then a fifty quid bb, any idea please

they come in GXP or BB30 format, the former fits 'std' BB's, the later the specific BB30 type BB, IIRC

Yeah, they are the same as Truvativ so you are stuck with their BBs or a compatible (Hope, Token, etc). They're not generally expensive but they are pretty poor.
