I am looking for a set of bars and stem to go on my rigid 29er,anyone got any suggestions or using something they would recommend.

If you're on a 29er to try and be 'different' then make sure you get some funny set up or you'll be shunned by the proper niche-wh0res - maybe some roadie drop bars or pretty much anything other than a riser or flat bar.

Otherwise, just use what you have on your other mtbs but maybe with a lower rise for the bar or flatter angle for the stem to make up for the typically higher front end on a 29er.

agreed.

Im currently using mid rise monkey bars, which even with a 5degree flipped stem is a bit high with the big forks (OK with rigids) so I may hunt down some flat bars soon.
