I've just really enjoyed an hour long Turbo Trainer session.
Am I a wrong 'un? 😕
Yes.
😀
Its odd though - I sprinted the last minute of the last interval and hit 184bpm off a 181 calculated max - I struggle to get to 181 on the road. I wonder why.
It depends whether you were watching TV, watching a training video or just staring at a blank concrete wall.
There are shades of wrong-ness.
It's a beautiful day out there - just got back myself.
What stopped you going for a 'proper' ride...?
Stop it, now, K57. I'm beginning to worry, ever so slightly, about you. 😉

Had to wait in for the Turbo to be delivered, need it setup before Sunday so combined all that with an hour on it whilst the bike was in place.
Any turbo session when you are not hoping for a house fire or any excuse to stop the unbearable pain is obviously a recovery ride.
Unfortunately I forget how bad it is 2x a week.

Ah, a n00b. It won't last 😉

I reckon it's usually to do with heat and cooling. HR is of interest on the turbo but power based is where it's at.
No, I find that normal, dread the torture chamber on my walk home, get home get changed because I know I need to do it, then once it's done, feel pleased and happy I did.
