I'm happy with my Alu suppressor. Nothing on it actually worth changing.
Nothing fancy or boutique on it.
Coil shock, mattoc forks, spank oozy wheels, saint brakes, xt 11sp drive train, spank stem and bar, reverb dropper with DeHy, time pedals and a range of tyres.
Is the guy making money off these then?
Judging by the amount of entries, yes and more.
He only needs 2000 entries/tickets to get the cash back (not Inc. any fees) - selling a 6k bike at rrp alone would be worth it, but with the added marketing value it's a bit of a genius move imo.
He started the comp/raffle small, win parts / forks etc and the prize has grown with the amount of entries.

Kind of my issue with it, as a raffle you knew the odds now it's a closed prize draw there is no need to disclose the number of enteries. Which meant you couldn't not quantify the odds. They are not allowed to run a raffle it would seem so had little choice but it was not clear enough for me. Glad people are winning, it does all sound very genuine. No problem with someone turning a profit from it either.
Well I made my decision and it's been built/collected. Made interesting reading all the replies to this thread. Thanks people. See here for images of the new build.....
