I've got an older Boardman (custom build onto a frame) and I've ridden my brother's Courier Race a lot... Both really good, the Courier is a lump though, quite a bit heavier than the Boardman despite the 1x8. The Courier has better mudguard clearance, but my Boardman'll still take 35cs with mudguards (it is squeaky though)

It's for my sister and she's bloody small so the Revolution is too big.

It's on sustrans tarmac surfaced cycle path.

For about 5 miles and her husband works in the same place so carries all the stuff she needs in the van.
