Hi All,

Looking for advice. I could do with replacing the Pace RC31s on my Merlin. What can folks recommend for a rigid, 420mm-440mm A/C, disc fork? Nowt wrong with them but I've had them on the bike for three ish years now and they were used when I got them so I probably ought to replace them. I've asked Pace if they've got any RC31s hidden in the warehouse but not had a reply yet. One option is to get a decent steel set made then fit and forget.

Cheers.

My RC31's are around 12 years old now. I'm only 55kg so they don't have too hard a life.

Vicious Cycles steel forks. I have some on my Soulcraft and they're a little more forgiving than RC31s. Look better too!
Or, Kona project 2s, triple butted from '95-'97 ish; not the modern monstrosities!

Alas, TB P2s are canti/v-brake only. Thanks for the info on Viscious cycles forks

Vicious then! They're disc or canti, but not both.
They really are lovely forks!
