I always run a standard layback post with the saddle way back (ok ideally could do with a larger frame )and fancy a dropper type post but most seem to give little layback . any suggestions /recommendations ?
thanks

not the answer youre after but from other threads it looks like youre going to struggle to find a 27.2 uppydowny at all. Gravity Dropper (potentially due to change of importer to CRC) and KS arent in stock anywhere, which pretty much leaves you with the Xfusion HiLo.
I think they deliberately limit the layback to try and reduce the bending load on the post, more so for a thinner (therefore less stiff) 27.2 post.
gravity dropper is available in i beam flavour which offers you masses of layback
youd have to order from USA though as said above there aint none in the uk!
