Looking for recommendations on a 27.2mm dropper post.
No internal routing on my Trek X-Caliber frame so its external only.

Thanks, Naffa

X-Fusion HiLo. Not the best lever and not the most positive return but it’s worked fine for a couple of years with no love.

It's hard to ignore this Tranzx post @ £79.99 - Tranzx is the same manufacturer as Brand X

Another vote for the KS Lev from bike discount. Very happy with it.

That Tranz X post maybe from the same manufacturer but its not the same as the Brand X post

Ive got a 27.2mm external routed Brand X
They now have the cable running from the base of the dropper part of the post, the cable nipple goes in here and the lever has a grub screw type fitment

The only downside to the Brand X is its a little slow on the return speed compared to most other droppers

I have a hilo that I thought was a bargain at £140 a few years back. If I was buying now I’d get one of those brand x jobs

BrandX 27.2 ones were very difficult to find new a couple of months ago. I ended up getting a HiLo secondhand, works perfect.
