Walking and riding. Looking at the Salomon XA25 for the SO to do both cycling and wlaking. But not ditching ohter alternatives.
Price is indeed something to consider. The XA 20 si 69€ at local shitathlon/chullanka, my favourite moutain shop don't stock them anymore.
I have look at the osprey talon 22 as well although this one is a tad expensive.
Cheers

Vaude do a good range of bags. I use a Splash Air 20+5. Very comfortable but perhaps not the best for organisation of bits.

The Salomons are nice bags - one of our kids has an XA10-15 and it is lovely.
Decathlon here have Millet (the proper brand, not cheap uk shop) this 25l bag on sale - it is a great, simple 'hole with a lid', vented back etc.
Osprey are good, but not worth the silly money they command at times.
