Looking for a double carbon crankset. Really looking for something which fits PF30 BB. Anything available under £250?

Why carbon, are they stiffer and lighter than aluminium?

Is PF30 the same as BB30?

If yes then there's a good selection of fsa ones on crc. Like this.

Edit -that's a triple but there are several doubles.

No.

I like Raceface chainsets...easily removeable (allen key), rings don't cost a fortune either. I have the SixC on one of my bikes and it's been faultless...apart from the looks doesn't seem much different to the Deus Ex on my other bike though. I got a good deal on mine but wouldn't pay the RRP.

I really don't think cf is a good choice for cranks. Yes it may be stiffer but too many flying rocks from the front wheel, which have put dents in my xt cranks. How would cf fare resistance to rock impacts?

To be fair I've had two sets of FSA carbon cranks. Robust as hell.
FSA stickers rub off but certainly no rock damage. Several thousand mlles on each.
