looking a bit chilly!

(tbh BPW isnt my favourite venue, much prefer a propper loop, but just be nice to do a race, been a while!)

I'll be there!

Not quite so keen on the 1pm - 5pm timed runs slot instead of the usual 10am - 3pm as I'll be heading straight back to Cornwall after but looking forward to it.

Only been to BPW a couple times before but never ridden the trails we're racing so should be fun.

Yeah I'm heading over, prefer the single run on each stage to mashup but should be good, not rode the trails they are running before, looking forward to it. Hope the snow holds off!

Gonna turn up in the morning do a few practice runs before lunch (maybe even sneak in a PAYG uplift or two to save the legs if I can ha!) and then at least a couple of race runs of each I reckon.

Question is...how many layers?!... forecast looks bloody cold!

I was going to say my race sucked but sorry to hear that kimbers, some scum about.

Don't know if anyone noticed it was cold?! Dropper froze, pedals were covered in ice, gear cable snapped. Ripped a massive hole in my tyre on stage 3, got down and got it fixed. Tried to put my wheel back on and my chain was frozen! That pretty much was the nail in the coffin!

Nice write up!

Cheers @marksnook.

Fortunately my bike just about held off the cold, though the Reverb was getting progressively slower as was rebound on my fork and shock!  Saw a few broken droppers and frozen mechs around so you weren't the only one if that's any consolation!

The marshalls deserve a massive amount of respect for standing out in that for 4 hours!
