Now that summer has finished and we enter the rainy season here in Devon, what tyres should i be considering for the roots, rocks a mud? Especially a front tyre.
Maxxis shorty
It's slow rolling but I absolutely love my Shorty 2.5 WT, it's ridiculously good in everything but bottomless slop. Like cheat mode. The 2.3 is very good but the 2.5 is just monstrous.
Ill second the shorty but i like the Der Baron Projekt a bit better. Not by much mind you. Seems to clear a bit better. The only Continental tyre i have ever got on with.
I know you said front especially but I find a spec storm control excellent on the rear.
Michelin wild mud. Not a fast roller though especially double
