Ok pretty glad I'm a wheels on the ground rider as even then I manage to brang myself....riding some of that stuff would be my end.
i have no idea how their bodies can take that amount of punishment 🙁
I'm getting on in years so wheels are generally in contact with the ground. Friday Fails is a bit of an institution in our house & that 10 min special was no different.
I get a weird sensation down my back & legs watching some of the bigger hits, like I'm being prepared for an impact myself. Odd, as I've never been able to jump.

Glad it's not only me. I received a really badly broken spine from 13 mph to zero when a car turned across me on my road bike. No damage to the fragile road bike, but my back split in half due to decelleration forces - like an old 'lap belt' injury in cars according to the surgeon. The 4 broken ribs were from the landing.
I don't like watching them generally, not good for your confidence if you do want to hit something. And yet I find myself watching and wincing....
Mate of mine is a very talented rider and says he never watches them for exactly that reason
I love friday fails and it makes me want to ride so much . That rock to face is savage though
kinda highlights why land owners bulldoze jumps and why every time I went to Rowney Warren there was always an ambulance parked.
