Hi there, I'm planning a few day tour of the NW in the next couple of weeks and would appreciate ideas for classic rides. As well as all day affairs, it would be fun to have a couple of shorter evening rides to turn to as well. I followed the recent great threads on routes around Torridon and Jen's recent article from Applecross and would love to be pointed towards more of the same. Cheers

Remember to beware the beasties (ticks as well as the vampires) and keep an eye on the forecasts for the area leading up to your trip, amazing early summer up there but rain has returned recently.
Thanks mate, I'll pour over a map with your route over the wkd. Live in Glasgow, so we hope to head to the NW, but if the weather intervenes, we'll detour to the cairngorms or even just head sth to the lakes. Do you mean, there is such a thing as the Vampire midge...
Any other suggestions v welcome. cheers
