Lothian and Borders Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident that took place at the top of Janet's Brae in Peebles on Tuesday 20th March 2012 at around 1000hrs. A woman was running in the forest with her husband when they had a disagreement with another man regarding the behaviour of his dog. As they ran off the man grabbed the woman around the neck, causing minor injuries. The man is described as white, aged mid 50's, stocky build with a full beard. He was wearing a peaked cap and waterproof coat. He was walking a black Labrador dog and is believed to be local.Anyone who may have information as to the identity of this male is requested to contact their local Police station or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
