Would it be silly to try it on a CX?

Silly to do it on a cx bike. Too steep climbs and descents for the cx.
Not saying it couldnt be done on one - but its certainly not the tool for that particular job.

I live about 3 miles from Wentwood and can confirm that it's wetter than an otters pocket up there.
