Went on the somewhat seriously named "Funeral for the unknown cyclist" today in London.
Couple of hundred cyclists turned up to follow an old fashioned horse drawn funeral carriage. People certainly stopped and took notice as we went from Holborn down to Parliament.
Wasn't sure what to expect on this, what with it being a Saturday in the middle of London but it was really good fun. Probably went about 3mph the whole way so not exactly much of a ride but it was good chatting with other people at a snails pace.
The main event was a Die In outside parliament - everyone on the floor in the main road like they are dead, and stay there for 10 minutes. It made the news, along with the aims of much larger investment in cycling and a reversal of the fuel duty freeze.
Pretty good day out, so I would say if you have these in your parts of the country they are worth a look for an afternoon out.

I would call it happening rather then demo, but English is not my first language...
Looks like though provoking stuff... Reminds me a bit WNBR, just all participants clothed xD
Cheers!
I.
Well done, good to see something a little thought provoking taken to parliament
Brilliant stuff!!
Nah your alright. I prefer a cycle demo where you ride cool new bikes.
