we love singletrack

Current issue of ST mag - Doethie Valley route - one of the best pieces of singletrack going in Wales IMO.

HEAR ME NOW

Brechfa rocks muchly, as does Afan, but the latter can be rather busy at times.

So, my tips would be Brechfa or Machynlleth

FAST FORWARD SELECTA!

Brechfa definately.

That Dothie valley route in STW is excellent. However it drains very badly and should be saved for the summer, ideally after a couple of weeks of dry weather.

Sometimes responses can be so predictable...(and it makes me chuckle) Still, putting BOOOM! in the title grabbed my attention.

Brechfa.

IMO you should never expect to get through the Doethie Valley and stay dry. Parts of the track run through river beds so you will get damp and muddy even during a heatwave.

It is a great route all year round, but I prefer it during the winter months when it is not overgrown with ferns.

+1 for Nant y Arian and Penmachno, with some Coed Y brenin on the side. May I humbly add a "SCHERWING"

yes, Wales is now completely covered by one massive trail centre, all proper mountains have been officially removed and replaced by fire road climbs marked with frowny faces on maps.

PTANG!!
