I lold when heard 'next section has jumps up to 35 feet in length'. And then...
fun video. I don't *get* your thread title though Capn'
Carnage indeed
That bike would be more than adequate for 90%of UK mtbers though. 😆
What a great video to show your mates whilst trying to explain why a decent bike costs the same as a shit secondhand car 😆
It redirects me to a wallmart advertisement.
That is not rad.
He was going way faster than I would on my proper mtb! That was fun viewing though and loved the foot braking!
The OP is suggesting what a conversation regarding a warranty return might sound like when discussing it with a Walmart staffer who had no idea what had just happen to THAT bike.
Buy some 2nd hand forks, new headset and put some Deore brakes on it and you have an OK budget bike?
I wouldn't ride down a black mountain rated trail with V brakes, but that's just me, I'm a coward/sensible.
Wow, that didn't look pleasant!!
Some parts of that look like someone was filming me on a downhill trail. We all know which bits 😀
Stewart : so replace brakes, wheels (originals are for rim brake), fork, stem. Going to cost you at least as much as the bike!
...handle bars, seat post, pedals, crank arms...
...and the frame, don't forget to replace that.
Like a disposable BBQ with the amount of riding I get to do at present perhaps a container load of theses would make more sense than a new alpine.
