You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So over the last 3 rides I've developed this really odd pain on/in my head from me helmet that’s unbearably painful.
I can't figure out what's changed-
> Same bike
> Same trail
> Same Helmet (also occurs with my other helmet; TLD A1 & Mavic Crossride).
> Same length hair
> Same glasses
> Fitness down a little, but not pushing anymore than usual

The way the pain manifests itself is odd;
> It starts as a hotpoint which is unbearable (light red)
> then the pain dulls a tiny bit as it moves to a larger circle (dark red)
> from there it progresses up and down my head in 3 lines (v. dark red) where the pain is more bearable.
It does extend around the head further, almost like a spider web, but it's less painful here.
Tends to occur on hills and with increased heart rate. Made worse by bumpy trails.
I've tried:
> Loosening the helmet off completely to the extend that I can fit about 8 fingers between the band and my head
> Adjusting the helmet so it sits lower at the front & vice versa.
Currently the only solution I've found it so take the helmet off. It then dies down after about a minute.
Any ideas?
I'd probably be seeking some proper medical advice, sharpish.
Helmet Aids, definately- IANAD
You crossing any ley lines or passing under chemtrails?
Dehydration, and helmet a bawhair too tight = sore head for me in the exact same are as you.
Cheers all !
Definitly not dehydration or helmet being tight...probably helmet aids. How long before I'm out of my misery ?
with the wonders of modern medicine you might still have years left.

From the photo, it looks like those big red things you have on the back of your head could be causing some discomfort under the helmet.
Have you tried removing them first?
Yup, Iburprofin and paracetamol ordered on repeat perscription from the NHS, 'cause it's free 😉 ...
In all seriousness, little lost and it's putting me off my next ride..
