Summit Cairns
Some of us live a long way from the nearest summit cairn, so just do your best. Any notable summit or any cairn will do if that's all you can find. Failing that, a Trig Point.
The rules.
1. Take a photo of your bike with something that matches the theme in the picture.
2. Interpret the theme any way you like.
3. Pictures should be taken between the dates in the topic title.
4. If you post a picture you can either suggest a theme for next week’s challenge or vote for someone else’s suggestion. First suggestion to get two supporting votes becomes next weeks theme, probably.
5. No limit on number of photos posted.
👍
Half arsed picture from todays ride.
How about dry stone walls for next weeks?

And another vote for dry stone walls.😄
Lord Wantage Monument along the Ridgeway. One of the higher places locally and the 'summit' of my ride 😀

Half arsed picture from todays ride.
Somebody moved your summit cairn off the summit! 😉
Somebody moved your summit cairn off the summit! 😉
It is a proper cairn though. Even has a plaque on it. 🤣
You can just about see it at 9 o'clock on the front wheel.
One of the cairns at the top of the Achnashellach descent. Great day for my first ride in Torridon!

Just above Langbank, looking onto the clyde with Ben lomond in the distance

Given the time available this is my loose approximation of the word/s 'summit' and 'cairns' without trying to build a cairn from bits of mud and gravel 😂:

@ta11pau1 snap!

We were actually heading up Coire Lair at this point, having come up from Coulin, so about to start the monster climb in the background. We'd come down to Achnashellach the day before on the classic lollipop route - a descent that didn't dissapoint.
A bonus one from the other side:

Hope this counts, great ride today with pizza and beers towards the end...
What's next week's theme? I'd suggest 'water' if there is nothing else.

Three suggestions, so I'll go with the first one, dry stone walls, even though some of us are going to be at a regional disadvantage again.
