Animals this week.

The rules;
1. Take a photo of your bike with something that matches the theme in the picture.
2. Interpret the theme any way you like.
3. Pictures should be taken between the dates in the topic title.
4. If you post a picture you can either suggest a theme for next weeks challenge or vote for someone else's suggestion. First suggestion to get two supporting votes becomes next weeks theme, probably.

I think you deserve a bonus point for finding a donkey the same colour as your bike.

And as for real animals, they seemed to be suicidal this morning - I almost ran over 6 deer (3 separate pairs) and a rabbit and to cap it off, a bird hit my shoulder too.

Defo not a slow worm.

Probably a bird dropped it from a local rhine.

Didn't see this thread til now so bike not in shot, but I saw this brown bear whilst out on a ride down the Valley Trail earlier! If I see one again I'll try to get the bike in 😛 It was so peaceful and happy looking, I wanted to cuddle it but probably would've had my face ripped off.

It's my race, commute, do everything bike at the moment.
I wear an ordinary back pack for commuting, so I carry a water bottle in case I extend my commute on the way home and I'm out for a couple of hours in warm weather.
Battery for light under the bottle.
Pump on seat post.
Puncture kit & multitool in saddle bag.
Spare tube taped to seat post above the rear light.
GPS on stem.

Anyway...

Geese on the Severn at Bewdley.

Completely by chance, we past these Alpaca last night & had to stop for a couple of shots
(low light and trying to explain to my m8 why I needed the photo, meant they're a bit rushed & rubbish)

At least 3 young un's (ahhhhh), one came bouncing over to the gate, but wouldn't stand still for both camera flashes...

You'll need to look really hard, but try the middle bit of the door on the right-hand side.
[img] [/img]

I also spotted this (empty) Bacardi and coke can on the side of the road in my haste to leave town - an' err, ... it's got an illustration of a bat on it.
[img] [/img]

Pretty thin eh, but riding'll be back to normal, out in the country tomorrow, where animals live. 😉

Suggestions so far then;
Speed
Camouflage
Pictures taken while riding.

I'm not sure how speed or camouflage would work and there's already a Panda thread on STW.
I was thinking that now Summer's here and it's school holiday time, how about tourist attractions if I promise to find something that isn't a steam railway or a safari park for a change ?

@ GRAEMEJONES

albino? stag

Extremely unlikely to be albino - cream coloured deer are not unheard of. I have seen one in Hampshire on two occasions but around three years apart.

Where was this taken? Your very nice pic shows a fallow buck. 🙂

@ CG,thanks for that, I've got another photo on my desktop of 2 younger ones the same colour, if you hang on a bit I'll put them on here.
If you put Urchins Kitchen into Google/ Google earth, that'll take you to about 500yds from the field these are in. Right off to desktop now!

CG, thats right, but it's a separate wood to Delamere, Primrose Wood. There's an excellent Cafe about 100yds down the road from where those pics were taken.
There was also a very heavily pregnant Black and White ( Piebald ? ) Donkey, also very friendly. 😀
