Dry stone walls

Another one where some of us are at a regional disadvantage, so any sort of traditional agricultural boundary like a properly laid hedge, ha-ha or bank and ditch will do if you don't live in dry stone wall country.

The rules.
1. Take a photo of your bike with something that matches the theme in the picture.
2. Interpret the theme any way you like.
3. Pictures should be taken between the dates in the topic title.
4. If you post a picture you can either suggest a theme for next week’s challenge or vote for someone else’s suggestion. First suggestion to get two supporting votes becomes next weeks theme, probably.
5. No limit on number of photos posted.

I was about to ask if I chipped some mortar out from my house wall would that do...then noticed your additional options. Reckon I can manage those. 😂 Can I vote for broken glass next week, as North Tyneside is awash with the chuffing stuff! Many different colours too. 😳

Bit chunkier than the average dry stone wall.

Almost a full house.
A ha-ha, a recently planted hedge, what I think is a bank and ditch, and an old metal post and rail fence.

Ha-ha at Arley

Hedge at Kinlet

Bank and ditch at Button Bridge

Fence at Button Oak

Taken tonight on a local 20km loop to give the dogs a run

[img] [/img]

And better late than never, taken tonight on same ride but entered into last weeks challenge, pic taken on the highest summit in Monmouthshire

[img] [/img]

Given the limited time available I vote for Bluebells for next week.

Nothing as nice as a dry stone wall hereabouts!

Most often a galvanised gate with Hawthorn hedges, white Cheshire Railings or barbed wire with a hidden electric one behind it!

I’m back… and I found a dry stone wall… kind of. Also an old fence in the forestry section of my commute from when they ran cattle on the land. You can just see a buried cattle grid in the background.

It's definitely dry, and stone.. but is it a wall? Taken at All Cannings faux Long Barrow in Wiltshire.

A recent coppice area that has sprung into life this year. The bluebells were not doing so well, but the extra sunlight has rejuvenated them.
Fence made from woven hazel.

Agricultural boundaries - hedge, fence, and ditch. Best I could do. I'd like to change my nomination for next week if that's allowed? Broken glass, whilst plentiful in North Tyneside, is rather depressing. Can I nominate level crossings or...cutlery 😁

Nice wee spin today in the glorious sunshine. This photo was taken near the river Feshie in the Cairngorm national park.

Struggled from r motivation to go anywhere decent so a picture of the local sea wall will have to do I'm afraid. It is at least a wall made of stone that doesn't use any mortar!
