My riding plans are scarce this weekend, a local jaunt this evening if I get permission. Looks to be double raindrop in most places tomorrow and a bit better for Sunday but warm all over! oooerr.

Where are you planning on riding your velocipede this weekend?

Just been discussing the amount of rain that's around tomorrow, will try to shift ride day to Sunday which is, as you say better, but that's prob going to make a dent in my Brownie point stash.

Gutted as I've got a Nomad on Demo at the moment and planned to take it up Skiddaw and along Ullock Pike amongst a few other bits, but hey ho.

Short road ride with the wife tomorrow if it's not to rainy, maybe with a cafe stop for cake, on my own if it's wet.

Sunday the world is my oyster, wife's busy all day so I can do what I like. Though I'm struggling to make a decision, somewhere that's not raining! It'll probably be something in the Peak District.

Pics Sunday night!

No riding for me this weekend, Mrs Jay is away so I'm on full-time Dad duties,

But... jetting off to Les Arcs on Monday, so you know - not all bad 😉

Hoping to get out tomorrow and then ride local on Sunday in between getting every thing ready for our Alps trip. Spares have been arriving all week and the last stuff, four bike shrouds, have been delivered today. Getting all excited now. Camper has been washed and hovered out, bit more ironing to do then its relax time

We'll have less of talk of foreign excursions in here please, some of us aren't going anywhere and are very, very jealous 😀

Maybe next year I'll finally get away!

Weather looks good up north. Better than last Friday when it threw everything at us. We have a long drive and a few detours before we get to Verbier. Kids eh 😆

Too hot here in Paris 😉 struggled round 10k with a whopping 75m of climbing (and I walked a bit too) this late afternoon, took me 50 mins of moving plus rests/checking the map - all a bit embarrassing 😳

Need to sort myself out or taking the bike on holiday will be a bit of a joke

We've got swell forecast over the next 3 days here, so paddleboarding it is & bikes are just rubbish in water.

After a week of looking after gramps whilst everyone else is away I'll get a half day Sunday afternoon. Planning Macc forest/Hollinsclough on way back from dropping in laws back home. Usual riding buddies are at bike village this week so slim to no chance they'll be riding Sunday so I'll be solo. Never ridden the area before but looks like decent riding.

Local 1 hour XC race at Betteshanger on Sunday. It's a bit lacking in rugged/epic terrain seen in pics above, but tight twisty fun.
