Steady 45 miles on the croix de fer in the white peak.
Tiny little local spin around the local parks. My tendonitis in my wrist/hand is really getting me down just now 😔

Few sunny cold hours out of the front door, lovely stuff.

More snow!

Maiden voyage in the van this weekend to varying locations but ended up at CwmCarn today.
My lad wanted to practice muddy, steep and rutted, never looks as steep in pictures

A mighty 8 miles exploring sheep tracks and hidden corners. Even found the sun!

nice, looking forward to my gravel bike turning up this week.
Longest ride in 9.5 months for me. Only 42km but it's a start.
Glorious(ly muddy), between the rain and hail that is.

Tried out a route we scoped on the map in Pelješac, Croatia, great success!
Golden hour
M1 Motorway
Ride then build Sunday, what started out as a nice chill ride over the mountains to the new trail head turned into 28 degree slog fest by midday, now sporting my first suntan of the year.

Out of my comfort zone today, and went for a ride with other people... 😱 It was the ADVNTR.cc x Phoenix Cycleworks gravel ride and I had a great time. I decided to head in the wrong direction first, cause that's how all the best rides start, 54km later I was at Phoenix Cycleworks a touch early, blame the wind.

We then rode round some cracking trails, a variety of slop, and hard pack, the worst being Lackford Lane, which was a chuffing nightmare.

There weren't too many, which was quite nice, so I managed to chat with everyone, which was also nice.

Given the headwind on the last leg, I wasn't looking forward to riding into it all the way home, so changed my planned route sightly.

Part of it was definitely Type 2 fun, slogging into a headwind while bordering on a bonk and cramps 🤔.

I'm now off the beer for a bit, so have been making up for it with some serious rehydration...

Enjoyable little hoon in the woods

Gorlech. A bit of hail, but weather not too bad. Not been before.
I do need to work out how to host photos. Photobucket is a bit meh.
30-miler in the Dales. Even with the wind mostly in my favour, felt tough.

A “gravel” ride on Saturday that ended up in a field then the first MTB ride since October on Sunday. Wet, but not as cold or windy as I feared.

No idea if this will embed.
No riding this week due to a knee injury, so opted to man the safety boat for Sundays racing and shot some video.
Quality looks abysmal so if I CBA I'll edit a few clips together and stick it on vimeo.
Wasn't too bad up Rivi late yesterday, wind had dried things out a fair bit...
Lakes ride for me, heavy rain on Friday night meant the trail were damp!

nice 35km on Saturday and then a horrible wet and cold 40km for me on Sunday:
