Well my weekend was yesterday and today as I'm working the weekend, got out today for 37 miles of gnarmac dusty heaven.
I'm gonna need to put on a 3rd bottle for these hot long rides, I found a bottle fill point (thanks to whoever posted the thread about the refill app!) but 3 bottles would have done me.

well that was a bit more expensive than usual, trashed my topeak hexus II chain breaker freeing a muntjac deer from a wire fence. They are not quiet and quite bitey ! But it was nice to see it bound off in the end.

Yesterday we did Cutgate from Langsett and back down North America. Plenty of riders and walkers about including some doing their D of E Gold.
Today was Blacca Woods and Houndskirk Moor with a couple of runs in Lady Cannings thrown in for good measure.

No cycling this weekend but took my 8yr old wild camping in the White Peak. We had a great time but I got **** all sleep 😩

Uplift saturday and pedaling today with cheeseybeanz.
Managed 17 uplifts and just shy of 2700 meters of descent on saturday.

60 miles down from Kirkby Stephen to Skipton, including a hill I had always assumed was a boggy grind which turned out to be entirely rideable and actually pretty good.
Oh, and a comedy faceplant at zero mph in front of a farmer and his amused family. 🙂

Hairy scary up there 😬
Quite a big weekend for me as the first riding/camping weekend I’ve been able to bag since last Autumn. Not only, but a 3yr hiatus from any *proper riding* (ie climbing and longer than a few miles owing to long-term complex injury) has finally/hopefully ended. It feels remarkably good to ride without constant pain and caution. What better way to celebrate this event than bagging a new (old) Longitude, and then taking a weekend in the Shropshire Hills to camp, ride, drink and eat rhubarb crumble at fave pub (Bridges, Nr Ratlinghope)

Sunday, road ride from Dunkeld to Kenmore and return over the Quaich road
After being off the mtb for 4 weeks with a bad wrist and what I think is a broken pinkie, managed to get out in the Peak with the wife on Saturday & on my own around the Chase Sunday. Wrist felt ok with the 661 support and finger ok ish!
I was lucky enough to go to Highland Bike Park last week since I was over that way in the US already. Needless to say it was incredibly fun! (Very average rider warning)
