Third leg of our Alps trip sees us in Tignes after a quick blast in La Thuile as we were passing.

Staying on the campsite in Les Brevieres which means it's up to the trails

The town is closed, the bus shuttle isn't running and the lifts in Tignes are closed due to snow. They may open one tomorrow if it's melted a bit.

First time this trip the Ebikes have been out.

Got chatting to a local rider who pointed out some trails that were passable and had a great day out on them.

Just a very gentle spin on the road bike, ramped up the miles and intensity too quickly after winter and spring off and now knees getting tendon-y 🙄

Shame as had planned a belter of a gravel route from Auchterarder to Dundee with a stiff westerly wind at my back the whole way (train home 😎) and lots of tempting little singletrack bits in the trees to explore.

Hopefully next weekend...

Bit more local than the Alps for us, a day at Comrie Croft today with a sauna to finish!

Aberfoyle tomorrow.

Bike Park Wales yesterday, either Brechfa or Afan trail centre ride today. Tomorrow going to try a bit of Tirpentwys and Wyllie probably.

Beautiful day of dust at BPW yesterday - it’s so much nicer when the sun is shining and the rain isn’t coming in sideways - although I’d say it’s got less grip when it’s dusty than when it’s wet on the hardpack bits.

@joebristol - last time I was at BPW, it alternated between sleet and snow. And that was in March! Need to get back this summer.

No riding for me, 12 (!) of us off to Madeira on Monday at middle-of-the-night o'clock. So I've made a careful and considered pile of stuff to empty into my holdall 🙂

Nothing like the Alps thats for sure!  Doorstep Calderdale tech tomorrow morning, chance to see if the new mech behaves itself, Was prime conditions on  Wednesday but afew days of showers shouldn't ruin things completely.

Took the very uncool choice to ride the red route (+ extras) at Innerleithen - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Second day in Tignes. Shuttle bus was running as was one lift when we got to the top.

Weather wasn't as good but the riding made up for it.

Just got back to the van when the rain arrived.

Flat 90k road ride in Cheshire with a mate early tomorrow. Think this is the least amount of hills I’ve ridden by June in any year since I started cycling 😯

Back home and Reeksy1 insisted on a trip to our local. I ticked off every track while he spent more time trying to perfect his whips.

Just back from a sublime week in Aberdeenshire (Ordie).  Rode Tarland on 3 occasions and did gnar on the other days.  Hid from the gash weather on a couple of days but went for low level walks on those days.  Eastern Cairngorms are mtb heaven.

@jimmy748 love this! Haven’t been up there for years but my great uncle used to own it (the airfield, not the spitfire) and my grandad was an instructor out of there for 30 years. Good inspiration for a ride up there, thank you.

Today was the sheep shit edition , almost as much of that as there are foxgloves this year. Ended up at Wadsworth walking market, where toasties, cakes and coffee were easily found!

Thornielee for some fun stuff. Met a rider who was clearly out of his depth, bum shuffling into the glory hole.

Big bike at Dowies and Shutcastle today. It's a bit of a pig but by the end of the day I'd got the hang of it again.

Not overly thrilling photos, but a decent loop round Beeley, Chatsworth, Edensor, Bakewell. Trails are running sweet

Just bought some Melon Optics Alleycats. First ride out in them today and wow - the photochromic lens is fab and the clarity absolutely superb. Best glasses I've used.

Also a couple of rides into some new Shimano GE9's (clipped) - again, can highly recommend

RTTC National 50. I handicapped myself but was pleased with my time. The machine probably weighs the same as Pog 😂

A very hilly Wiltshire ride yesterday with a stop for pics at Longleat House.

Recommend the cream teas at the cafe on Shearwater Lake if you are in the area.
