Did an evening ride up and down Dumyat. Lovely sunset followed by blindness in the woods lol
Very dry and dusty coming down. Felt a few squirm moments on the rear.

@singlespeedstu - Thursday's definitely count, I'm retired, every day's a weekend! 🙂
This is Middlebere Heath (Dorset) at the end of Thursday night's ride in the Purbecks, perfect end to the day.

Did a double ride on Thursday.
8am on the Quantocks to beat the heat, and then a ride around Bath/BoA in the evening of with a pub lunch in between.

Glad I got out, cos it's pissing down now!

Getting a bit overgrown round here.
A couple of bits of trail have vanished into the undergrowth.

A loop around Cross Fell and Great Dun Fell.

Big climb up to Cross Fell

Down from Greg's Hut

cross fell

Source of the South Tyne

cross fell

Pretty much all singletrack from there to Great Dun Fell, the occasional washed out section

cross fell

Then it was down the Great Dun Fell access road

corss fell

It would be better in the opposite direction and with a different BW descent off Cross Fell. More shots and text at https://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=20380

Only managed a day at Windhill with a few of my riding mates on Saturday, two of them I haven't seen since before Covid! The bikes even had a chance to catch up with each other, socially distanced.

Was knackered after my first week back in work for nearly 9 months plus the heat all week ruining any quality sleep so I didn't get many laps in and was riding like a sack of spuds too, still great fun though.

As my life is one long weekend at the moment I'm counting todays ride as eligible for this. 😉

Couple of hours over Golfie followed by a trip to the top of Glenduro. Then over to Inners for a couple of trails and finishing on The Classic just as it started to rain.

Had my nephew up from down south for 4 days. He has never ridden MTB trails before but after a little skills assessment/tuition he had a little tour-de-trail-centres where he enjoyed riding red trails at Mabie, Drumlanrig, Kirroughtree and Glentress. I handed him back to my sister unbroken and grinning ear to ear.
