No Friday for me this week (this is the one in four that I have to work 🙁)

Rode at Ballater today and my legs failed me, I just didn’t have the legs to sprint the flatter bits of Heartbreak Ridge, Mastermind or ET. Hopefully the strength comes back as I do more outdoor rides.

On the climb to HBR I had a few onlookers.

Friday was a neenb (non ebike no bike) run.

Saturday ebike rattle round Yair, new favourite trail.

@onehundredthidiot

We'll have to meet up for a ride sometime.

TBH I'm surprised we've not bumped in to you already out on the trails.

Golfie/Inners combo for us today with 1500M of old and new.

First ride on the new bike today but we didn't stop for many pictures. I was too busy trying not to die while being dragged around for 5 hours by someone much fitter than me.

Still, I think I've got the bug back so I'll be getting out more often and it'll get less painful.

Bike is mint. Definitely made the right choice.

Return to the Yat to ride a couple of drops I chickened out of last week, and ride trails normally we'd leave until Spring. Another 1100m+ climbing on the big bike, I'm sure it's doing me good 😉 Definitely earned a beer by the river.

First ride in 3 months!

15 miles on the local hill - don't remember it being this dry in February before.

You know what, it's actually excellent. It won't stop your legs getting wet or muddy but if the only thing you care about is a dry arse and a clean dropper post it's terrific. Loads of clearance too so won't clog and stop the wheels turning. Review on it will be up soon.

@singlespeedstu we’ll be in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks time. Amanda can say hello to her old Blur (still going strong).

Big local loop in the Blacks today. Absolutely prime conditions underwheel, though the wind on the tops was enough to cut you in half. 32 km and 1150m of climbing. Am hurting a bit now (and I had a motor, some of the group didn't!).

@singlespeedstu yeah would be up for a ride. It's not big an area that end of the valley.

Went out an old Roman road to find a long lost trail. Found reminder of it but no actual trail.  Nature has reclaimed another.

Rich drop us a message and we'll show you round some trails and have a beer.

We were talking about that bike a couple of days ago.😄

@onehundredthidiot.

Give us a shout next time you're heading to Yair and I'll pedal over.

Shoulders still giving me grief after last weeks OTB but got out for a good Moorland ride with a dash of Hebtech to finish. Trails are lovely at the moment.

Had a belter of a week's worth of riding.

Tuesday night adventure - rode over from Leeds to Ilkley. Train back.

Stealth mode up from Menston

About to drop down to Ilkley

Sunrise walk up the park on Wednesday. Beautiful

Saturday morning Enduro eeb runs. All running great. No mud.

Main hazard was all the leaves! was a bit like autumn. I think because it's been so dry they haven't rotted down as much as usual. Berms full of 'em.

Sun came out (unexpected!)

I was on a walk at the time but they really don't like you having fun on Burley Moor (see image 1)

Nipped out before Dusk on the SS this afternoon

Decent!

First roadtrip of the year to the mighty FoD - 8hr round trip but so worth it!  I should really move nearer..

Little pootle out in South Ayrshire.
Had the joy of watching a Sparrow Hawk take a blackbird just 6 feet in front of us (as we stood motionless) then proceed to kill the thing before flying off with the limp carcass - ain't nature great.
