Wife’s away for a couple of days, so a quick spin before the school run. A sunny, muddy, cold and windy 12.5 miles and 1400’, still infinitely better than Zwift.

It's kind of helped by having some pretty nice scenery round here.

I think mostly everyone’s pictures above all just look gorgeous cos of the light - clear bright November skies. Jealous 🙂

Sunny here today, so mid-afternoon my wife and I set off for a road ride.  As soon as we started to head up Horseshoe pass (Llangollen) it started spitting.  By the time we got to the top it was pretty heavy.  Aborting our planned loop we turned-tail to head home.  It rained all the way down the hill as well.  4C, piss wet, and 40mph wind chill.  Not the one.  Almost certainly the coldest I've ever felt by the time we got home.

Ah well, nice rainbows at least.

I promised my lad I'd clean his bike if he'd go mtb this morning. I think he abused my offer. 

It been so long since I've been that last time it was called new Amsterdam new Amsterdam.

Autumn colours at Coed y Brenin yesterday. Stunning day, blue sky and a kaleidoscope of leaf colours.

First proper ride on my new MTB - I've been round Leeds Urban Bike Park and a couple of short local routes on it but this was the first real MTB.

I have to say I didn't think much of the mbr trail at all. No flow to it and a lot of it was simply boulder field with no way to get enough speed to comfortably commit.
Well, no way for me anyway, I assume it must be rideable. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fifth ride this week for me today with a huge effort put in to do this 12 mile round trip for a couple of protein shakes. 😉

not very dry in the Cotswolds.

Made teh most of a relatively dry weekend with a Hardtail cruise on a crisp Friday evening, followed by a few hours at Twisted Oaks.  For such a small park in the flats of Suffolk, there's plenty there to progress and build confidence - and the 3 new lines are excellent.
