Was supposed to be starting our roadtrip in Tennessee about now, a long weekend down in North Wales it is then...
Weekend started on Wednesday for me with a ride round GT off piste with some mates that were up visiting then Golfie, Glenbena and Inners yesterday.
Got an early start on the weekend with a quick blast on the Glenfiddich estate yesterday.

Finally we managed to include the Pont Scethin loop into a Wales weekend - what a stunning mountain bike ride...

We were supposed to be in the Auvergne, postponed from last year, but ah well. Wales has been mostly fantastic the last 2 weeks.

I thought it was the Severn, but was thrown off by the picture of Chesterton - i assume both photos weren’t from the same ride!

We should have been up at Tweedlove this weekend for the Tenduro but after a couple of weeks back and forward with the hospital they finally decided to operate on her broken leg

In between baking for her and playing nurse we managed to get a quick blast local with Fin. Trails are still dry and fast but need to get out and trim back in a few places.

The Forest of dean one is near Blaze Bailey.The trail dog always looks so happy.
Couple of days bimbling around trying to make sure our bronze D of E students didn't get lost. Very pleasant way to spend a Friday when I should have been at school (but then I did give up my Saturday too).

Oh and if you don't attach your GoPro properly, this is what happens!
Walked back up the trail using the GoPro app until it connected and beeped. Would have been hard to find it without that.
