After months off the bikes did a short (compared to most on here) 18 miles on a gravelish route passing the kitties in the pic above in Strelley.

Went out early this morning having a little explore round Rivington and Great Hill area.
Rode to Stewarton - got soaked to ****. Hands and feet numb, could hardly see out my glasses and didn't have mudguards.
It is sunny now - bloody Scottish weather.
Aboyne for me today with my mate who was out on his Privateer 141. He had a go of mine at Pitmedden last week and bought a second hand frame on the Monday 😀.
Conditions were very greasy and he managed personal bests on several trails, he seemed pleased with the bike.

Not a gucci Ohlins or anything, but it feels very very nice.
The trail conditions were waaay better than I expected after a very damp and dreary week.
Local round the woods today. Trails conditions had improved even further.

Nose-cased one of the gaps which wasn't even a big one 😬 at which point it was time to stop being silly and go home unscathed.
